Remove custom backends

All the custom backend code will be moved to a separate project,
	together with the new MySQL backend.

Have wscript use the environment-provided CFLAGS as per WAF's documented behavior.

If we want debugging symbols, we most likely want them to point to the
right place. With -O2, gdb or valgrind may give wrong information.
