MAINT: cleanup unused imports; avoid redefinition of imports
* Cleanup unused imports (F401) of mostly standard Python modules,
or some internal but unlikely referenced modules
* Where internal imports are potentially used, mark with noqa
* Avoid redefinition of imports (F811)
